This
year’s team comprises:-
( L - R back row)
Conor
Neil, Ciaran Morrison, Nicky Clenaghan, Mathew Callan
( L - R Front row)
Jamie
Henry, Stuart Wylie, Eamon Bradley, Paul Bradley, Jamie Reid, Lewis Bradley.
Following
on from last year success in the league, finishing a close
runner-up
to Crow Wood, the Mount Ellen Junior Team is well placed in
this
year’s competition.
Quality
with strength in depth is the key to this years successful start to our league
campaign with Stuart and Conor
playing
off a handicap of three, Jamie R, Eamon, Mathew, Paul and Nicky all off five,
Ciaran off six, with Lewis and
Jamie
H not far off single figures.
With
10 juniors vying for a place in the top 6 places there are always some
disappointed faces when the team is announced.
All
of the boys have contributed in the matches so far, either through playing or
through caddying and encouraging
the
team players competing for points.
So
far, the team has won four (Airdrie, Easter Moffat and Drumpellier at home and
Drumpellier away) of its 5 games
and
having a disappointing defeat to Crow Wood away. Outstanding performances from
all the players will be required
over
the next few weeks to overcome strong Airdrie and Easter Moffat (away) and Crow
Wood teams (home).
